Hand-sewn leather goods material kit, DIY anytime, anywhere

The handmade leather art craze has been going on for a while, with leather shops and workshops popping up like mushrooms after a rain. Hong Kong people are known for their fleeting enthusiasm for fame, and time is always running out. Once they've tried a class and mastered the techniques, they often lose interest in enrolling again. Teaching classes, however, is likely to be a dead end once the craze wears off. Leather shops, facing a narrow customer base and high rents, face significant operational challenges. Kean Pak, founder of The Lederer, has taken a creative approach, capitalizing on the trend, and launched hand-sewn leather kits in an attempt to find a way forward. This Valentine's Day, he successfully sold hundreds of kits, and his products are now exported to Taiwan, Singapore, Europe, and the US. He seems to have found the right business path, and he's confident he can expand further.
